The homeowner contacted NEFLPI to help find and document proof of occurrences within their home. The family has experienced things for some time with an increase after they moved into the home in December. Much of the activity seems to focus around the mother and the oldest daughter. The men of the family don’t seem to experience much of the activity. 

 

Both the mother and daughter have seen shadow figures throughout the home as well as moving objects. The daughter has been hearing voices and felt something “hugging” her. Recently, activity has escalated to the point that the daughter has been scratched across the back. As part of the preliminary interview, we were provided with a video taken by the daughter of one of the black figures, which will be posted on our site. 

 

The investigation began around 9:00 and conducted by John, Renee, Ang, Kevin, Edel and Breanne. We were hopeful for an increased amount of activity since a severe thunderstorm had recently passed thru the area actually flooding nearby neighborhoods. We set up the IR cameras in the designated hot spots and began the investigation taking baseline readings. Baselines were normal but a sense of stimulus was felt by some of the investigators in a doorway leading out of the family room to the bedrooms. This was the same area the homeowners described as creating a feeling of uneasiness. We were unable to detect anything in this area with our equipment to point to a cause.

 

Given the reports that the females in the family experience most of the activity, we broke up into two groups, men and women. The ladies entered the home for the first part of the night with the assistance of the mother and oldest daughter using the digital voice recorders and cameras. Several undetermined noised were heard in the kitchen area and the back bedrooms.   Some of the investigators thought they heard voices, which we are hopeful, will be picked up on the digital voice recorders. At one point, the daughter believed she saw a figure “peak” around the doorway in her bedroom.

 

The investigation lasted until 2:30 with us swapping people among the teams.   There were several noises heard by each of the investigators   we will be reviewing the evidence and posting results to our site.
