The team was contacted by the homeowner to assist in finding answers for occurrences in the home. Accounts included hearing voices, objects moving and seeing dark figures in various rooms. It is believed by the homeowner that a close personal friend that recently passed is coming back to visit her. This friend had a close personal tie to the homeowner and died tragically just a few months previously.
The investigation was conducted by team members John, Renee, Kevin, Edel, and Breanne and assisted by the homeowner. We set up the IR cameras on the hot spots pointed out by the homeowner and began the investigation by taking baseline readings. Everything proved to be normal, except for a high EMF reading behind a chair in one of the spare bedrooms. It was found that a refrigerator in the next room was throwing a high EMF in the vicinity directly behind the chair. The EMF field would be at head level for anyone sitting in the chair and could cause some adverse effects.
We broke into groups with Kevin and John watching the monitor while Renee, Edel and Breanne worked with the homeowner on EVPs. Our hope was that if the spirit of the homeowner’s friend was returning, she would be more likely to communicate with someone she knew. Throughout the investigation the homeowner was active in the attempts to communicate.
The investigation began around 9:00 and lasted until 1:00 AM. Throughout the night there were several strange noises heard in the home in addition to a possible figure seen in the living room by Breanne. There was also the occurrence of motion detection lights coming on in the bathroom without the investigators passing by the beam.
As in several of our other investigations, we experience battery drain with some of our equipment. There was also the feeling of something present in the area near one of the bathrooms while the ladies were investigating.
We are still reviewing the evidence but preliminary results have turned up some interesting EVPs. Voices we are hearing seem to be both male and female. We will be reviewing this information with the homeowner in the near future and posting on our website.
