Lake City Columbia County Museum – Follow Up Investigation August 30, 2009

NEFLPI was offered the opportunity to re-visit the museum in Lake City and offered the chance to spend the night. We were very excited about this, since our first visit resulted in a significant amount of personal experiences and documented evidence.

The investigation was conducted by John, Renee, Kevin and Edel, with volunteers from the museum. We began the investigation at 9:00 with set up of the IR cameras in the hot spots we had experienced on our previous investigation. Base readings were also taken with the EMF meter and digital thermometer. Base readings were normal with the exception of areas in the building with electrical panels.

We began our investigation by breaking into groups with Renee, Edel and Karen conducting EVP sessions in the building. EVP sessions were conducted in the downstairs rooms as well as the upstairs bedroom.

The teams were changed with the men also conducting EVP sessions in the various rooms of the museum. There didn’t seem to be much activity on this particular night, but we were hopeful our recordings would pick up some evidence.

We split into various rooms, later in the night, to catch a few hours of sleep and kept our IR cameras running, hoping to record something. Renee felt at one time that something was pulling down her covers. We hope that the IR cameras may have caught some evidence.

We will be reviewing our recordings and posting evidence on our site.
